The holiday season is the time of year when our days and nights seem to revolve around friends, family, parties—and of course, food!

Days and nights that revolve around rich, savory foods can wreak havoc on our gut. Give your gut a little love by including some fermented foods in your post-celebration wind-down.

Fermented foods are foods that have been through a process of lacto-fermentation in which natural bacteria feed on the sugar and starch in the food creating lactic acid.
